Tesco Clubcard Boost

You can use your Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens towards ABC Boat Hire and Countrywide Cruisers boating holidays. This allows you to pay in full or in part for your relaxing self-drive holiday afloat exploring the countryside from the comfort of your own boat. ABC Boat Hire customers may use up to a maximum of £800 worth of tokens on a week’s holiday and £400 worth of tokens on a short break. This is per boat and not per person.

Terms 1

To make a booking you must first be in possession of your serial numbered Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens.

Terms 2

We regret it is not possible to hold a boat without first taking the serial numbers from your Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens or to hold a boat using any other form of deposit payment if you intend paying for any part of your holiday with Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens.

Terms 3

Terms 4

Tokens can only be redeemed with the following companies: ABC Boat HIre  and Countrywide Cruisers. You can check availability online by Company to ensure that the boat you want is available with Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens.

Terms 5

When you make your booking on line it is automated and you only have to send your  Boost tokens in clearly marked with the provisional booking reference number which you will receive by email. Or if you telephone our booking team will confirm the availability of your boat for your requested dates and put your holiday on a provisional hold. We will take the serial number(s) of your Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens plus details of how you will be paying any balance of hire and fuel.

Terms 6

You will be given, or emailed, a provisional booking reference number which must be written on each Boost token and on your booking form

Terms 7

All of your Tesco Clubcard Boost Tokens will be required at the time of booking

Terms 8

On receipt of a provisional booking reference, your Boost tokens, booking form and cheque if applicable for any balance (with your booking reference number written on the reverse) must be sent to arrive with your boat operator within NO MORE THAN 6 WORKING DAYS.

Please note: We will only acknowledge receipt of your Boost tokens if you have provided an email address on your booking form. If you have not supplied an email address please check with Royal Mail in the first instance to see if your special or recorded delivery has been delivered and signed for. Your confirmation paperwork will be sent to you as soon as we have received everything and it has been processed.

Terms 9

If your Boost tokens and booking form are not received within 6 working days, your booking may be cancelled and your Boost tokens returned to you. Please inform the Reservations Consultant that you are using Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens to pay for all or part of your holiday so that they know how to manage your booking

Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens can only be used for holidays taken in the main cruising season (Mid March to End October) and cannot be used for off season winter holiday bookings. 

Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens may only be used by the Clubcard Holder (whose name is printed on the Boost tokens). However there can be more than one named Boost token per booking as long as that person(s) is travelling too. Boost tokens cannot be given as gifts.

Please note that  Tokens cannot be replaced, so we recommend that you send them to the boating company by Special Delivery.

You cannot add more Boost tokens to your booking at a later date, so please enclose all your Boost tokens for this booking. You will need to state the total value of Boost tokens at the time of booking

After using your Clubcard Boost tokens, any balance outstanding on your chosen holiday may be paid for by cheque, debit or credit card. Details of these will be taken at the time of booking.

On receipt of your Clubcard Boost tokens and any outstanding remittance, your booking will be processed and confirmation of your holiday will be sent to you by post.


Tesco Clubcard tokens can only be used towards the boat hire cost in the brochure; any extras must be paid for by cheque, debit or credit card. 

Customers may use up to a maximum of £800 worth of tokens on a week’s holiday and £400 worth of tokens on a short break. This is per boat and not per person.

Please note that your holiday must be booked within the 6-month validity period of the Boost token - the holiday does not have to be taken within this period.

Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens cannot be used to pay the deposit unless the entire holiday is paid for in Boost tokens .

Once you have received your Boost tokens, you must book your holiday at least 14 days prior to your intended departure date.

Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens are valid for 6 months and can be used as full or part-payment of the cost of your holiday. Boost tokens can be used on new bookings only .

Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount and are valid against current brochure prices, which are subject to change.

You may use more than one Boost token per booking. No change will be given if the value of Boost tokens is greater than the cost of the holiday ; however, any shortfall can be made up with a cheque , debit or credit card at the time of booking.

It is very important that you check that your holiday insurance covers the loss of the value of your Tesco Clubcard Boost tokens should you have to cancel. Most policies do not cover such a loss.
