With news that Worcestershire’s tourism sector is thriving compared to national levels, exceeding £1 billion for the first time, it’s fitting that the county’s most welcoming stays are being recognised in the Worcestershire Tourism Awards.
Two of our ABC Boat Hire marinas, Alvechurch and Worcester, are part of this prestigious county celebration after being shortlisted for Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year at the upcoming Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards.
But it’s thanks to you, our incredible canal boat holidaymakers, that we’ve been recognised for our second county award just this year.

The black-tie ceremony is scheduled to take place on 20th March 2026. Hopefully we’ll be celebrating the start of a new season with a spring in our step!
