You may have seen recent media coverage regarding the breach on the Llangollen Canal. We are deeply saddened by the incident and by the impact it has had on this beautiful and much-loved stretch of waterway, as well as on those currently boating in the affected area.
We would like to reassure customers that cruising to Llangollen from our Whitchurch or Blackwater Meadow bases is not affected. Normal navigation on these routes remains open and available.
The breach has occurred near Bridge 31A, and as a result the canal is currently closed beyond this point in the direction of Wrenbury.
As with all situations of this nature, and in line with our terms and conditions, we are pleased to offer customers the option to relocate to an alternative cruising area should they wish. As a multi-base operator, we are able to provide a range of alternative cruising options, allowing you to continue enjoying your holiday with minimal disruption.
