The boat was clean tidy and well built but the design we all agreed was the worst we have experienced in approx 18 years with ABC / Viking. The rear toilet was very small with an inward opening door which made it a struggle to get into (one of our crew twisted his back in doing so). The shower curtain was about 3 inches too short so it did not reach the shower tray resulting in a lot of water on the bathroom floor when anyone took a shower. The under bed storage was inconvenient as it was necessary to lift the matresses to access it (would have been better if we could have just slid bags / shoes etc. under the beds). The positioning of electric sockets in the bedroom areas was poor in that they could not be used when someone was in bed. The drop down bunk beds (in stored position) were easy to bang your head on when in the bed underneath. The oven stuck out too far and was positioned half way across the sink which made it very easy to lean on the cooker controls and activate them (this is a safety issue). There was a very small gap to access one side of the table. Should a deck mop have been provided?? We did have a problem with the front toilet which seemed to overfill with water and meant we had to get a pump out. The boat yard who did the pump out said that most of what came out was water. Unfortunately to get to a pump out point entailed us doing more mileage than intended. Despite all the above and the poor weather we did enjoy the holiday.

Teknisk tilstand på båten var ikke tilfredsstillende. Stadig alarm om lavt oljetrykk skapte unødvendige behov for stans. Gulvet i maskinrommet var dekket av olje, trolig fra en lekkasje. Takluka i båten var ikke tett, vann lakk inn ved det minste regnvær. Vi ble nødt til å endre reisemål pga. uteblitt båt. Erstatningsbåt ble tilbudt fra annen marina, noe som medførte økte reisekostnader for oss i forhold til opprinnelig marina. Ny marina medførte endring av foretrukket seilingsrute, mindre attraktiv en den først valgte. Pr. dato (1 mnd. etter leieperiode) er kostnads balansen for annen båt enn betalt for ikke refundert. Vil tilskrive ABC direkte for purring.

Friendly staff, and useful help. The lady in the front reception was very helpful checking our route was sensible and reassuring. The engineer that gave us our induction was helpful and everything was great on the handover. Boat cleaned well and ready for us to go. We had a great holiday.
