The boat was comfortable clean and well laid out. Only one slight niggle was the metal cutlery tray where all the cutlery slid under when the drawer was opened.

The boat itself was really good. It handled well and was comfortable. The loss of 1 star is due to a poor handover when collecting the boat and when I reported a small fault that needed an engineers assistance at 9am the engineer didn't arrive until 3:30pm after another call from me to ask what was going on. Also the prop shaft seal was leaking and the bilge pump kept coming on.

We enjoyed the holiday very much though travelling the whole of the Black Country ring in 7 days leaves little time for stop-offs. We did manage both the Black Country living museum and Shugborough Hall but it would have been better to have two clear days to use for the visits.

Generally boat was not as clean as expected. Cups and glasses were dusty / not clean. Deck of Boat was not clean. However we saw that after our return and before next rental, both these items were taken care of. Friendly efficient staff Well equipped boat A good overall experience

Excellent boatyard and very nice boat for 4 people. It would however we felt, be cramped for 6, and even more so for the 8 it can sleep if you use the drop down bunks, unless quite of few of these are children. The canal itself is beautiful, particularly when you hit a week of great weather as we did. Numerous very nice and inexpensive pubs along the way. Very friendly wildlife (see photo).

Unfortunately my mother fell over whilst getting off boat had to be taken to hospital so they had to cut short the holiday after the first day

Boat was as described and staff were helpful but a little short staffed so our start was delayed. We arrived at around 2.15, but couldn't leave til around 5pm. We would have expected to leave at 4pm.
