Superb service from everyone we interacted with. The booking office was extremely responsive to questions, whether it was advice on what guidebook to buy to conditions on the waterways. The pre-departure briefing at the marina was friendly and thorough.

There were plenty of options for routes without locks or with major flights of locks. As we were looking for the less physical break we took an easy option. The staff at the marina were helpful in guiding our choice.

From the first contact everyone we spoke to or met could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Even our dog loved reception strokes and dog biscuits. The boat was supplied well cleaned with everything required. Instruction and assistance were just right.

Llangollen is very nice, weve actually been twice before. Chester is a must and we’ve been there 3 times before with ABC

This is our 4th time from Wrenbury. What more need I say. Nice and clean boat, second time we have cobb’s wren.

really enjoyed holiday..peace and quiet, kingfishers and an otter. well equipped boat and so clean ! friendly staff , who promptly came out when we had a problem.. should they invest in electric boats I would go for one as we would only hear water and not the (reasonably quiet) engine.

Staff were all friendly and welcoming on our arrival, handover was comprehensive and the boat was clean and tidy and a real pleasure to live in and pilot for the week. We had the Sanderling, wide beam boat which gave the 6 of us +2 dogs plenty of room. If we were to do it again the only thing we might do is bring along a couple of folding chairs to allow seating on both sides of the table rather than having everyone on the benches. So quiet on the Canal for October Half term that the place was ours. Thank you all.

Although late October we had very good weather, the nights were cool but the boat had central heating. Heading towards New Bradwell we negotiated 8 locks, found everyone to be extremely helpful and the return journey through the same locks went just as well.
