Day Saling from Nantwich, a lovely stress free day , the family came over from Belfast and I treated them to a day on the canal as it is easy to book and the staff are very friendly and helpful, no locks on this route but a lovely wee pub called The Barbridge inn that do lovely food Moore up outside where we got a drink and had our sandwiches which we brought , it is also fitted with a fridge and a cooker which you can boil a kettle and make a cuppa whith the sachets off coffee which was complementary but you ned to bring milk, the youngest member off our group was 6yr old she had a ball and couldn't wait to go home and tell everyone about her magical day seeing all the wild birds the big dragon flies and all the animals in the fields , as the rest of the family sent pictures to their friends back in Belfast they wanted more information , a lovely day out had by all fully recommended

We found the staff very friendly and informative and everything was explained very well. The boat was clean and tidy with everything we needed on board. Very impressed.

A great adventure, perfect for beginners with stunning countryside with climax in the enchanting Llangollen. Chilled and friendly throughout even when we got into inevitable bits of bother with he boat. Beware trying to turn in the winding hole at Grindley Brook Locks :)

Helpful and friendly from the very beginning from enquiring about boats, canals and pricing through the booking process and then onward to the holiday itself including of course the start of the holiday, with the boat intro and handover. Boat was clean and fully equipped and although we later found one of the mooring pins was broken we were able to pick up another no bother from an affiliated marina.

First time narrow boating and ABC were great. Extremely helpful and patient, Mark guided us through the boats facilities and controls. The boat itself was Musician Wren and was very well equipped with kitchen utensils, crockery, bedding, towels etc and was impressively spick and span when we picked it up. We cruised from Springwood Haven to Coventry and back in our weekend trip, no locks as we were new to it all but the boat was easy to handle and we will try locks next time! Recommend the Greyhound pub, great food and lovely views. The dinette bed I found uncomfortable but it will probably be fine for kids or less fussy sleepers than me! The beds in the bedroom were good. All in all an enjoyable trip and O would recommend ABC.

Lovely day out on the canal with full safety instructions. Stopped at Star Inn for superb lunch and back - very quiet in canal only met a few boats.
