The introduction or the route briefing can be more details as I am the first time doing narrow boat. The flat battery also a small issue.

I think the overall experience is good, the ship is nice and very clean and new! The check in process is good but if they could give more hint would even better. The little problem is the battery as we got a flat battery for both morning (cannot start the engine), it take us some time to wait and some appliances cannot be used. But the staff and customer service try to response shortly to our boat, although I have ringed both the office and also emergency phone have no one response. I need to use online chat to find someone to divert me to them. (lucky I have phone network there)

See headline below. Boat was obviously well used but was well presented, clean and performed without a problem. As we were from overseas a common difficulty, we find in boat hire is complete lack of condiments and it is a problem when you are traveling. A minimum started pack would be helpful, maybe on request.

The trip went well - Four counties in 6 days, with a considerable amount of luck and unusually considerate mix of fellow boaters (but not 100%). And an extremely tired crew of five!

Having to watch the safety video, after being told to watch it at home is a slight chore. Although living near the K & A canal where most ABC "incidents" seem to happen ,I understand why ! Handover was a pleasant, easy process. The boat performed well apart from the steering which was very, very heavy and needed a lot hip to aid pushing off a high point ( this probably explains why the boat was discounted unusually early). We reported this to the technician on return, who thought it may be a bent stem which would require out of the water work repair. Hand back, considering we were a day early and unannounced was quick and efficient.

Been using ABC for decades. They have never let us down. The boats are comfortable and well equipped. The staff are polite helpful and knowledgeable.

Other than problems with WiFi and tv signal, Brilliant boat with all amenities. Great staff to look after you. Very helpful.

Enjoyed our holiday overall. However, Wi-Fi was non existent on the whole of the holiday, just couldn't get the connection even after advice from boat company. TV signal non existent at Kirkintilloch and Auchinstarry. This results in nothing to do as for much of the time it was unfortunately heavily raining and couldn't get out.

Just returned from a long weekend narrow boating with ABC from Kings Orchard! Wow what an experience. From arrival to departure - it’s been amazingly great. From a warm welcome from the guys at abc. Then there was Lee! Our handover guy. A perfect ambassador for the company. Excellent handover as he sent us on our merry way. Three days later we returned to the marina having had the most amazing boating trip. And then once again an easy and friendly Handover back. All of which has had us book next year’s holiday already. This time a week from Kings Orchard in October 2024! Thanks to you all but special thanks to Lee. Philip & Sallie Evans.
