Our planned trip was cancelled 36 hours before it was due to start due to the unavailability of the boat. Two options were provided by ABC with a degree of flexability around the length of time we could have the boat. The staff at Gailey Wharf, especially Nigel, went out of their way to assist us.

Could not fault service The staff at Blackwater Marina where we collected boat were friendly but professional. Everything was carefully explained (as it was our first time). Which filled us with confidence. The boat itself was first class. Very clean inside and out with everything you could wish for. Will definitely be using them again

We really enjoyed our trip from Hilperton to Caen Flight. Beautiful stretch, everyone friendly and helpful on the locks. Two great pubs - recommend the three magpies and the barge inn, both served great food. However, outside the Barge inn, came across another canal boat hire company 'moonraker' they had taken over guest moorings and the owner of the company was very rude - I would avoid them at all costs!

ABC Boat Hire were friendly and helpful - we were late checking in due to traffic and Fabien and Simon stayed late to make sure we could get on board.
