Kennet and Avon canal is a dream with Bradford-upon -Avon, Bath and Bristol all on route. Moorings generally easy although there are long stretches where mooring isn't allowed.

Rented from ABC before and they really came through last year when we needed help (unlike a competitor who has lost our custom forever). No issues with the boat or the service. Looking forward to next year.

I’ve had a narrow boat trip on my “bucket list” for years. It turned out to be one of my best holidays ever. ABC was very helpful and service minded, the Llangollen canal was so idyllic and peaceful and exciting at the same time. Thanks a lot!

Marina staff,both head office, marina office and boat engineers excellent .boat vg, kitchen could have been cleaner. Boat very well equipped.

Excellent service from the whole team, our boat was ready for us on arrival and the layout to our needs suited us perfectly Although we are experienced boaters, all aspects of the boat explained in great detail including the external dining table! Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a canal based break

Collection and returning of the boat was seamless. They were very helpful and informative. All staff we came into contact with were very friendly. No problems at all.

This was our fifth trip with ABC on narrow boats, and perhaps the initial shine is, for us, wearing off. We found that the Alpine Swift seemed to be more cramped than previous boats, with the beds narrow, necessitating some skill in rolling over without falling out. The macerator toilet is excessively noisy, disturbing sleep at night.

ABC Blackmeadow Marina staff were all very friendly and customer focused. When we identified a problem with the boat, they were very quickly on scene with the necessary spare parts to deal with the situation.

Great service, boat fully ready, clean etc. As usual. For newbies, good instructions etc before handover. Not their problem…pubs…don’t rely on web sites, look up Tripadvisor, some pubs are…not open Mon or Tuesday, closed down, do not do food any more, as examples. Double check before going. That was on the Ashby canal.
