I researched the hire comanies and locations extensively and picked ABC because of the size of the boat available (69' for 7 adults), location and reputation. They did not dissapoint. From the pick-up experience, resolving a technical issue to the drop-off two weeks later, everything was as expected.

I booked this vacation for our two adult children, their wives and my sister. All adults, no pets. The boat was ideal for this and the cruiseallowed time to explore towns, meet up with friends and enjoy the pubs. Yes people have done the Four Counties Ring in one week, but we did it in two and no day was too rushed.

Everything great including the weather. New Duck class boat for this season with latest galley layout, superbly comfortable beds and larger showers but with slightly less wardrobe space and storage shelves in the bathroom.

The staff in the hilperton marina were lovely and the boat was great - well equipped and very comfortable- we had a fab week!

Very pleased with our holiday as canal novices. Well equipped, thoughtfully prepared and very clean boat, good instruction, seamless pickup and return with no waiting.

Generally they are very good in every aspect, but on this occasion they fell short on checking a number of items on the boat, but I understand they were short staffed.

With a very long boat, a narrow and quite busy canal, aqueducts tunnels locks and bridges we had plenty to challenge us as novices. There were stressful moments, particularly at the turnround at Trevor which was congested and difficult. But we relished the challenge and learned a lot on the journey, and the route was spectacular.
