Very good service and we were mostly well informed before we set off. It would have been helpful to know that we should check the closing times of the Aldermaston lift bridge as this would have saved us time on both outward and return journeys. Some small issues on the boat -a missing door handle to bathroom and some signs that the boat was not thoroughly cleaned, but nothing that spoiled our overall experience. Staff were very polite.

There were a few things on the Veery Thrush that could be improved on. Egg cups, toast rack would be a good addition. Kitchen cupboards under the sink never stayed shut.

Front curtains had mildew on, given the cost of the holiday this was unaceptable. Bathroom all week had a bad smell. A faulty ceiling light came on in middle of night. Tin opener could not be used.Possible fault with water tank, we filled up with water an after filling tank found the water tank was empty. Kettle had a moveable handle and was dangerous. A member of staff at marina jumped on the boat at 9am and was walking around the sides of the boat. Initially we were supposed to have until 9.30am to vacate.
