Arrived and greeted by friendly staff, ran through how the boat works along with how to navigate locks and bridges.. Helpful when I called up during the 5 day break with a questions. We had a fabulous time and I we will definitely do a narrow boat holiday again

The service was excellent and all questions or issues were answered quickly. Boat was clean and reliable. Going early in the season was great and for the most part had the canals to ourselves. Will definitely be back for another season. The only thing that I could think that could improve the experience was better Wi-Fi, more explanation of tank capacities such as water and black water as well as fuel. It would also help to know that the grey water goes overboard. Coming from outside the country we made the choice to not change our phone plan since the boat had Wi-Fi. We were surprised to learn that the data was limited and pretty much burned through that on the first night aboard. These were the things that stressed us out the most.

Would highly recommend ABC boat hire from Hilperton Marina. From arriving at the marina the process was easy. All the information we needed was talked through with one of their team regarding the boat. They we’re extremely helpful with questions we had about our route and gave us tips. We hired 2 canal barges sleeping 6 in each. They were clean and well maintained. We had a lovely short break over Easter and will definitely be back.

The reception team were very professional covering safety well and they were aware of any issues on the system, The hand over was equally well done missing no relevant points, the boat itself was well presented clean with everything where it should be, the welcome pack and live flowers was lovely. The return was handle very well and the small charge for the extra fuel used was not expensive. We have hired for 31 years and Gayton is probably the best base we have used, thank you

Thoroughly recommend! Third time of using ABC, the boats are really clean, the reception and hand-over team are always friendly and welcoming!

good service with a smile lovely narrow boat it was just a shame the showers and loos were child size !! not ideal for anyone over 5'6'' and 8 stone
