Gailey staff were very helpful and friendly. Has a great laugh with Dave who showed us round the boat and Katy in the office was helpful and resolved a problem with booking the Harecastle Tunnel very quickly. Loved all the cleaning items provided on the boat to make our stay more comfortable - even included a little sewing kit. The boat had everything we needed and we had a fantastic week. Thanks from Captain Pugwash and his crew :-)

ABC staff and boat hire are fantastic, we always wanted to do a barge boat holiday. we planned it for my husband's 50th Birthday , and it was amazing hoilday..We came back not wanting it to end , booking it for next year May time and can't wait. I think we have court the bug for barge hoildays. Thanks to ABC.

We were not advised of lock problems until we arrived and when an unexpected failure of a lock gate stopped all traffic again no warning phonecall, yet the yard had our mobile number. Even then little empathy shown for this problem ("ITS NOT OUR FAULT ITS DOWN TO CRT"). the reason for losing a 5 star rating.

Boat was clean and in good condition, although we were experienced narrowboaters, we were not warned of the hazards associated with this canal with water flow linked with the R. Avon, particularly the strength of flow by the weirs.

We liked the angled toilet ,but quite often 3 or 4 flushes required. Consequently we needed to get a pump out

Great boat, great holiday, only problem was finding the marina to begin with. Multiple postcodes given to us and a dearth of signage on site.

Great boat, great holiday. But majorly annoying difficulty finding you due to variety of postcodes given to us, and dearth of on-site signage. Took our friends an hour driving round Worcester to get to you.

There was no problem with the canal boat the problem was finding a mooring each day especially towards Bath due to the amount of people living on boats on the canal and over grown vegetation. Towards Devizes was a bit better but still quite a lot of people living on their boats and over grown vegetation.
