Unfortunately it was cold and and wet on our chosen day but I couldnt fault ABC Boat Hire. They were professional, pleasant, helpful and made the expereince stress free. I would have no problems in booking again next year and keeping my fingers crossed for better weather.

Good boat, heavy on the steering but coped, some locks were in need of maintenance on the Black Country Ring which was hard going with just two of us.

Our experience of hiring a narrow boat from ABC was very straightforward. It was our first time in a narrow boat and the ABC Team at Alvechurch made the whole experience very relaxed and uncomplicated. The team couldn't do enough to help prepare us for our trip. Likewise, handing the boat back after our adventure was very clear and simple. Thank you very much!

First time boating I found this fantastic hobby Days out of enjoyment Canal routes hours of scenery autumn colours are beautiful Ducks are such pleasure,to see and feed them Wildlife is great to see ,,it's so nice it's survival Continues And The canal trust service Which we are joining looking forward to helping out With the cleaning up of canals footpaths etc

We had an amazing day. Just the right amount of training before we set off on our adventure. Plenty of information before we got to the boat, both written and to watch on video. We followed the route advised by the yard and had plenty of time for lunch at a canal side pub.

This was a vacaton different from any other we have experienced. In addition to enjoying the scenery and the stops along the way, we met wonderful people, shared great conversation and random dinners with other travelers, and it fortified our commitment to teamwork as a couple and in working with others in navigating the canal and working the locks. We would do it again.

Great customer service and friendly staff. The boat was well equipped and before we set off the staff made sure we were comfortable with the boat because it was our first time. They were also kind enough to assist me with locating an item I inadvertently left behind.

We had a very enjoiable trip, despite the two rainy days we had. The rout we traveled was bautiful. The scenery was amaizing and the people we met on the way were frindly and helpful.

The purchase procces was convinient. The boat was handed over clean, in good condition and well maintened. The handover process was efficiant and the marina team were kind and helpful. The returne process was just as good. We will recommend.
