All the people at ABC were extremely helpful & friendly, also the barge was well equipped & comfortable. Our main recommendation for people taking a 'relaxing' barge holiday would be to not motor for more than 4 hours a day as otherwise you get little 'down-time' to relax. Also to buy the appropriate Pearson's Canal Map as it provides a lot of invaluable information on your route.

I was really pleased with the service we had from ABC. They were great at communications during lockdown, they had a reasonable response to the uncertainty. Transfer of the boat was perfect - and adherence to Covid requirements was great. It was a super fun three nights, with great time on the canals.

We had a great time with our three grandsons, it was sufficiently challenging to keep them amused and they thought the narrowboat really cosy.

Cleanliness was a big let down, dirty plates, chopping board, crumbs left under the toaster (considering the current situation with COVID, we did expect the cleaning to have been done thoroughly) and the fact that some items were broken. The waterproof coats were Torn or had broken zips so useless and the TV aerial was broken. We had to have the Toilets pumped out after the 2nd day meaning they had obviously not been done before we left. Other than that we all had a lovely holiday, the boat it’s self was lovely and well set out. The showers in the boat are amazing. We would love to do a narrowboat holiday again in the future.

As usual a great holiday with ABC boat hire from pick up to drop off. If I had one complaint it would be that on arrival I was told that the Wifi code would not last the week and to call and another code would be given, but when I did call I was basically given a code under duress and made to feel as though this was not the usual and that another would not be issued. I wouldn't mind not having it, but it was made plain to me on collection to call.

good boat,everything we needed was on it,good shower which is always nice,just a little cramped for 4 people,which probally would not have been an issue if weather had been better,and we could of been outside more

We have rented from here many times. All of the team are extremely courteous and helpful. The social distancing measures are all in place, we felt very safe, We were also reassured that the boat had been deep Cleaned
