The staff at Falkirk were friendly and very helpful, and also accommodating to our requests. The boat was clean, comfy and had no faults whilst we were on board. It also had excellent heating - essential for a wet and windy Scottish October.

Boat was exactly as described and in good condition. Went to Tamworth and back in a relaxed weekend. Friendly lock keepers.

Tha Kennet & Avon Canal seems poorly look after, with very few places suitable to moor, and in Reading it seems as if they don't want boaters, the moorings were not signposted, and there wasn't that many, all of which you had to pay for.

the weather was against us - but we had a wonderful, relaxing time. We arrived late and everyone was helpful and accommodated us. Recommend you try this type of holiday if you haven't before is relaxing and calming.

The welcome was fantastic, as friendly & welcoming as an be. We were though not expecting a rip off £25 fee for a pass to enable us to use the locks. What’s the alternative if we don’t pay it, stay put at Falkirk! This should obviously be included in the hire as it’s a necessity. A lot like the fuel ⛽️. However I understand the current climate so can excuse a fuel surcharge. The lock pass charge is simply unacceptable.

The service was fine, they were helpful and friendly, but the boat didn't seem to be to their usual standard, which we did tell them when handing the boat back.

Loved every minute of it, we were first time canal boaters, people at the marina were friendly and helpful, the boat was clean and well presented, everything on the boat worked properly. Will definitely do it again next year.
