We were extremely lucky with the weather but the week on the boat would have been enjoyable anyway. The boat was reasonably comfortable for two people and a dog. It was quite old, with a slight oil leak from the engine, and our dates were towards the end of what had clearly been a long hard season for the boat. But it had been thoroughly cleaned before we started. Because of time constraints for preparing the boat for the next people, we were required to return it by 9am on our last day. This wasn't feasible and so we returned the previous day, cutting short our holiday. The method of charging for diesel was not ideal. The tank was refilled on our return and we were given credit of £25 in cash but there was no paper record.

Everything about the holiday worked exactly as it should. The communication was brilliant and informative and staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent handover from the marina. The staff were very friendly. We had to call in at Wrenbury for a pump-out. The Wrenbury staff could not have been more helpful.

Overall we had a lovely holiday with fantastic weather (though no one has control over this) that does make a boat holiday more enjoyable. The boat went well though we did feel it was a little tired now in the bathroom / bedrooms areas in particular. This is the second time we had been on this boat and noticed the difference.

Everything was brilliant. The boat was as described. The people at the Marina were welcoming and helpful. ABC Boats even arranged brilliant weather for us! Can’t wait to do it again.

Great service, only issue was a long wait to get going whilst the boat was being cleaned. Otherwise excellent, will consider Hilperton again.

Excellent boat although the boat smelt very strongly of dog and we had to buy air fresheners and carpet freshener which didn't mask the smell all week. Staff very efficient and helpful on arrival and departure . We will be returning customers

The boat was well equipped, beds were comfortable and above all the people who advised us about choice of journey and using the Wheel and locks were particularly helpful.
