The boat was a little old and dated the beds were uncomfortable very narrow even for a small adult however it was very clean and well looked after

Boat originally ordered for April 2020 but because of COVID........ Revised booking time was for mid-September 2021 and all arrangements went well and a good week was enjoyed without any problems.

Had a great trip. The only issue I have is with the bed witch was too hard for me and resulted in hip & back pain that required me to take pain killers every night. Not your problem but may well invest in some form of bed topper for future trips.

We arrived early and were allowed to start loading up our boat early . The Technical talk from Ian was very good and he gave us some helpful advice about routes to take and safe places to moor up . The boat performed very well apart from the table on the fore deck which snapped its mounting and the gas cooker that would light but not remain on . We spoke to the out of hours who reassured us that he would call back in the morning to sort out the problem but we did not get a call back. Being unable to use neither the grill or cooker throughout our hire period caused a fair bit of inconvenience

Thorougly enjoyed holiday. Good service and boat was quite comfortable. Just felt that fittings were beginning to feel "tired" Mattresses were a bit lumpy and the throttlle was stiff and neutral was very vague. Damaged hands several timrs

The only issue we had was that the boat did not have double mattresses or extra wide double mattresses. We had two single mattresses that were pushed together but separated during the night. Consequently, we did not sleep well. We raised this with the marina on return explaining that the brochure stated that extra wide double mattresses were included. The marina stated that they were optional and had to be requested, however, there was no option within the booking form to request double mattresses. We have had wide mattresses on previous bookings without requesting them and they do make a big difference.

The toilet discharged a large volume of water on each flush and after three nights the red light indicator showed up giving us a concerned last day cruising. The destination Whalf at Rugby were a little concerned that we were mooring overnight in their base. This was not highlighted in any initial paperwork. Owner turned up on Sunday evening to let us know we shouldnt be mooring here for covid reasons but was happy to let us stay if we agreed to be out of the boat by 8.15 Monday morning. Other boats turned up after dark and moored beside our boat which l thought was quite dangerous. In the morning we were moved by boat owners and refuelled before 8.00am while we were still on board doing our last minute packing. I will not be using the Rugby base in any future boat hires. Alvechurch wharf staff were perfect.

I would like to mention Chris the gentleman that help us ladies get to grips with the boat .. I would say that they kept us hanging around which I think we could of got on the boat earlier.. the boat wasn’t the cleanest and felt a bit used

Good, clear website with lots of relevant information. Staff were very helpful on telephone and when collecting and returning the boat. Boat set up well but hot water was in short supply even when running the engine. Great holiday.
