A wonderful first-time experience. Beautiful, very well equipped craft - the delightful Lochan Ora. Lots of good advice about mooring, shopping and eating places, both from staff and in the on-board file. Lovely, kind and helpful staff, without exception- but a special mention to Jane for her thoughtful and excellent handover, and to the very patient and cheerful gentlemen who managed the locks. We were also blessed with great weather on our trip between Falkirk and Edinburgh!

We were both very happy with Humblot's Heron and, having cruised the canals extensively, I was very interested to see how the boats have changed! We were very happy with the facilities on board with the slight exception of never being able to get the main TV channels on the TV!

The whole experience was brilliant! The barge was so clean and well equipped and comfortable. The handover was very informative from a guy who knows his boats, he lives on one! We had such a fantastic few days. It was our first time but won’t be our last!
