We were very pleased with the way the new boat was handed over to us. Staff whent to great lenths to explain the new features of the boat. We were quite happy to take the new boat to it's new home in Wrenbury.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t thank them enough. Goytre Wharf is a hidden Gem for wildlife and picturesque views with plenty of woodland walks too. Thank you for making our 1st narrowboat experience so memorable.

We had spent a long time planning the route , moorings and booked meals at pubs/restaurants using our guide books. On arriving at Wrenbury we were advised that there was a lock closure just for that week and we couldn't make the planned trip. Due to various pub closures along the way we had to go towards Nantwich (where we had been several times) and then back past Wrenbury towards Grindley Brook. If ABC had Emailed us re the lock closure before we left home ,we could have re planned a route before setting off rather than having to do it on the go .

We were really lucky with the weather but this particular stretch of the canal has a LOT of locks. Of course, this is no-ones fault, but you need to be aware of this because if you are looking for a relaxing holiday, this canal does not provide it.

From the very start the staff at the Hilperton Marina were so helpful and did everything to make it a lovely boating experience for us. The boat was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Excellent service from ABC Boat Hire. would 100% recommend this company.

The handover was extremely poor. The boat was not in a well maintained condition. The fridge froze everything, the sinks leak, there was no plug in the bathroom sink, the kettle spout was rotten and disintegrating. I even had to purchase a shower hose seal and fit it myself to stop the shower spraying everywhere.

The staff were excellent and they us a wonderful welcome. Richard did the handover of the boat which was very clear and gave us great confidence.
