We found ABC to be a brilliant company to deal with, right from getting advice about routes/boats prior to booking, until we handed the boat back to them after our trip on Saturday. Their staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and professional, full of good advice and willing to give you plenty of time in spite of their busy schedules and tight boat turnarounds. As first timers we were given a brilliant induction and handover, which helped us to feel confident in being able to tackle the challenges of our route while knowing that they were at the end of the phone if we needed anything. When the boat developed a mechanical fault an engineer was with us within an hour to fix it. We have all got the canal boat bug and wouldn't hesitate to go back to ABC for future trips. Thank you for facilitating such a wonderful holiday.

This was our second holiday with ABC so everything was as we expected. That said, the boat interior is starting to look a little tired and having to return at 9am wasn't a positive end to the trip.

You never fail to deliver. Yes the boat was a bit old but so are the canals as well. The reception when we arrived was excellent. Boat handover same. Which made us get out on the canals asap.

Boat was ready at agreed time. Handover and explanations were good. The engine was fairly quiet. Heating, hot water and showers worked very well. Plenty of plates, dishes, glasses etc. One of the main seating areas was damaged and unusable, there was some staining to cushions. Bedding/pillows were basic and uncomfortable. The duvets were grubby (which we found when we stripped the beds at end of hols).

Customer service was excellent - we had to delay this trip for 2 years because of COVID, and ABC Boats offered immediate refunds. Pre-departure information was thorough and up-to-date. Very friendly and efficient on return.
