Lovely boat and staff service excellent. As newbies, slightly disappointed that there was no differentiation on the booking website between what to expect on river as opposed to canal. Also, apart from the number of locks on the suggested routes there was little information on the different localities. Locks were really scary. It would be good to have someone available to help on the first one.

We will look into adding more information on our website so it is clearer that customers will be cruising mostly on rivers when choosing to take a holiday from March. We will also be asking customers to contact March Marina ahead of their holiday to discuss the tidal lock times at Salters Lode. Beautifully presented boat very well equipped very comfortable and a lovely surprise to find complimentary shower products! Staff at the hire shop were brilliant and so helpful!! Definitely buy a good map of the canal a must!!!!

Thank you for your feedback. Blackwater Meadow restricts boats coming back into the marina because there is very little turning room and they prefer a member of staff to navigate the space available. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed our Lark Class boat and hope to see you again next year!

The boat was great and the staff at Whitchurch base were very friendly and helpful. We needed to call the base twice during our week's holiday and each time the matters were dealt with promptly and efficiently.
