We had an amazing holiday on the canal. Mixture of eating out along the route or self catering in the well equiped galley. Totally relaxing 7 days, yet no time to get bored. We did a trip to the ‘Big Pit’, mountain biking and walking. Guide book purchased in the Marina was an essential and pack sensibly, less is better as minimal storage on board.

The boat was very clean and well stocked. Due to traffic we had been late but were still welcomed, shown around boat and just spent first night in yard. The morning information handover was great.

Great boat well appointed loads of space for four of us, as you would expect as it is a six berth! Shame it kept wanting to turn right, legacy of a bent rudder from a prior encounter, I would imagine. Still, kept you on your toes and gave you a bit of a work out.

As first time boat hirers we were very impressed from the marina to the size and condition of the boat. At the start of our journey we received very efficient and friendly instructions in relation to handling the boat. We had a short weekend on the boat and would definitely consider returning to use the same boat company.

Everything was as expected. The boat was ready for collection, which was simple. We received good instruction and tips from the team. Secure parking was available for the car. We departed very soon after we arrived.

Everything from start to finish was handled smoothly and professionally. The boat was well equipped and very comfortable. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend ABC boat hire.

The boat handled very well and was a pleasure to steer but some of the facilities were lacking - and yes, I do know it's a narrow boat.
