Great introduction to the boat from Les who alleviated all fears. Had a great time on the boat with some really supportive fellow boaters. The barge was ideal for our party and had no problems at all. Would recommend ABC to all. Building work at the Marina made boarding understandably a little difficult

The service and staff at the Marina were excellent and the boat was spotless when we picked it up, not the case when we returned it after a week of rain! The only negative was that when we returned to the Marina we discovered that all the remaining diesel in our car tank had been siphoned off, we managed to get to a service station with our friends to fill it up but it was disappointing to come back to that.

Sue, Jackie, Diane and Dan could not have been more helpful or friendly. The boat was apparently left in a right state by the previous customer, it was however immaculate when we boarded. Myself, my wife and in-laws were absolute novices at the narrow boating game, but after the video, some lock instruction and run up and down we felt confident enough to take to the cut. The barge was more spacious and comfortable than we could've thought. We had a fantastic 4 nights on the Cheshire Ring and we'll definitely be back again. Thank you all at Anderton Marina

WE had a great time. The boat was clean and ready to use. Introduction was thorough. The only problem was the dirty canal weeds which caused problems. Another boat behind us was supplied with a weed hook which made a tremendous difference with the freezing dirty water. I can,t understand why this is not standard equipment. This item can,t cost much.

We felt the boat was a little tired. The cooker was old and rather worn, the bottom shelf in the fridge door was missing and therefore it was very difficult to store milk or any tall bottles. There were no complimentary tea and coffee (which we have always had before). There was a large duvet and pillows in the bedroom cupboard which made it difficult to store any clothes or shut the cupboard door. One or the catches on the sliding hatch was sheared off. The heating stopped working on the last night which left us very cold that evening and the next morning especially considering the exceptionally cold weather. When we set off none of the power sockets were working, however my husband managed to rectify this.
