We were disappointed that we didn't get better views from the canal and that we couldn't just moor anywhere because of the weeds growing into the canal. Even bridges seemed few and far between, and there was very little wildlife, so the canal seemed quite tedious at times. The boat handled well, but it seemed tired. Narrowboats are expensive for two people, so newer things would be great - particularly in terms of the shower (shower screen a bit mouldy, shower flex could have been cleaner), and better storage. The extension for the bed was a great idea, but we didn't use it. The utensils on the back of the kitchen cabinet was a real irritant (and they were removed and stuck in a cupboard). Having just 4 teaspoons was also somewhat irking. When paying what we did, I don't consider the plastic bags and wash cloths a 'Welcome Pack'. Thank you though for all the towels!

I have used ABC for the last four years. This was the best handover yet. The boat was made available 2.1/2 hours early. Myra was friendly in the office and George who did the handover treated me as if I knew what I was doing. (Which I did)

Easy to book, clear handover, lovely staff in Reception, great boat. We would have appreciated an e mail before the trip stating where locks were closed as this impacted our planned route to Stratford and we had very little time on the pick up day to re plan.

Edinburgh and Glasgow were both new. Scottish Canal staff were friendly. I'm not used to having someone else do the locks and bridges, which provides the only fault with the trip, that we had to keep to a strict timetable after booking our passage

Slightly disappointed when we arrived at the marina , everything was confusing booking in and boarding the boat , we had to struggle with our bags across 2 other boats as ours was the 3rd one ******* in a line of 3
