This is the 5th time we have used ABC for a narrowboat hire. Although we had a wash out of a holiday. The arrival was very welcoming and as we had done this before they only showed us the stuff that was needed for safety reasons. When the river was flooded they called to make sure we were OK and they sent an engineer promptly to help with the fenders on the boat. The service was very good at hand back too, all very efficient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday with ABC boat Hire from Whitchurch Marina. The boat was new and felt like home from home. It was presented to us immaculately clean and so well equipped with everything you needed. The beds are very comfortable providing a good night rest after day manning the tiller. Despite the heavy rain on the first two days the waterproofs provided kept us dry. We loved our time on Tree Swift, a complete change for us that we found very relaxing and enjoyable. A great way to immerse yourself in the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.

Well once again - ABC boat hire staff have surpassed themselves in providing us with an excellent customer services. Having already experienced the services last year with a long weekend trial, I decided to book a week’s hire and chose the Piping Plover from 21/9. On arrival we were met by Lee - the same one and only who helped us last year! Well, this was around my Wife calling to seek his advice re our intended route with me having resorted to both CanalPlan AC and Chat GPT! Once Lee heard of our plans he put us right and gave his best advice. Having taken it and heard his suggestions on stopovers and pubs etc, I can honestly say the man’s a genius! Forget AI and all of that malarkey. Just speak to Lee. Without making Lee’s head any bigger for fear of him banging it constantly on those boats, I have to say Lee was the man, once again a big thanks for making everything almost perfect! Almost? I hear you say! - well - get rid of those rubbish matches and supply a proper stove gas lighter, and oh yes, being the genius that he is, we did expect Lee to have set the weather in our favour!⛈️☔️🤪 Let’s not forget Conrad and Helena - they are also brilliant! Thanks Guys!😀😀

The service from Richard and his staff was superb, very professional, attentive and welcoming. They provided us with all the information we needed and put any of our concerns at ease, answering all of our questions so that we were relaxed and well prepared for our adventure. We would definitely recommend Richard and his team at ABC boat hire Whitchurch marina

We had an excellent experience from beginning to end! Helpful staff, lovely boat (refurnished since the photos on the website so that was a pleasant surprise) and even money back on out fuel as we didn't use it all!! Very happy, no complaints. We had a good offer on the price too.

The boat was clean well presented and had lots of equipment The staff were very helpful and check in was quick Enjoyed the experience immensely and would recommend to others Only issue for us was Theo en which wouldn’t stay on but that was probably our fault
