The service was excellent, the Marina team were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and the boat was the best we have ever had in my 60 years of narrowboating on our inland waterways.

Reliable, helpful, friendly service, once again. This was our 12th holiday in 10 years with ABC. We have used 9 different hire bases over this time, and have had the same high standard of service at each one. We have always found the boats clean and well prepared, and the one time when there was a minor issue during the holiday, this was arranged and dealt with by another ABC base further on our route. As with all hire fleets; sometimes it's a new boat, other times it's a bit work worn, but always found to be clean and well maintained.

It was so good that the canal staff were there to assist through the locks. I felt a lot safer . The staff at the base were so helpful, assisted with trolleys .

Boat well equipped and maintained to high standard. Boatyard staff including admin were courteous and helpful. Handover was straightforward. I would definitely highly recommend ABC to my friends and look forward to booking with you again on a different canal.
