Brilliant weekend, first experience would do it again

Great boat. Even the telly worked, not that we watched it much. Nice big beds. Spotlessly clean. Proper shower cubicles. Microwave and conventional oven. Had a canal blockage which they did their best to help with.

We were unable to complete our planned route as the canal is very twisty and in places shallow all of which reduced speed to less than 2MPH. Midweek was not long enough it needs a full week. Non the less a most enjoyable experience in beautiful countryside.

Good welcome. boat clean and well maintained. Design of boat interior poo . not enough work surface or storage in kitchen. (there could be a cupboard over the cooker for example) Similar in Bedrooms, no shelving to hold watches, mobiles etc. Finally, boat handled like a bath tub and didn't like bends but warm and reliable! Great break though, wonderful canal!

Apart from the extractor fan not working the boat was presented well. As we have been many times before we were able to begin our holiday efficiently. Canal was excellent weather exceeded expectations and t he e aqueduct was breathtaking.

Had a great week on our canal boaf with ABC Boat Hire! Enjoyed every minute. The canal water level was very low in places, causing you to feel vibration on the bottom of the boat, and through the rudder, with it scraping on the canal bed. Did make it feel like hard work at times, and we did not get to our planned destination. Not the fault of the boat hire company though. Would definitely book with ABC again. Most probably next year. Only comment I would say on the boat is it could have done with some extra hanging hooks and shelves. Limited space for 5 peples coats etc throughout the boat. Only for info, and no way a complaint. Thank you again!
