Long Tailed Duck is a very comfortable boat, but ( in our opinion) rather long on the Llangollen Canal which is a very twisty canal. The beds were amazingly comfortable.

Not a reflection on ABC at all since they cannot control the weather, but this was the wettest canal holiday of out 18 such holiday.

Friendly and helpful staff, who explained the routes available. Handover of the boat was quick and very efficient, helped by the app, which was very useful.

Reception and customer service excellent and friendly. Floods around Reading resulted in the locks being out of order so we were delayed on return. They kept us up to date to check our location and needs. This was our 5th boat hire from various boatyards. SHORE LARK was equipped with more than our needs eg toilet spray, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, rain proof suits, umbrellas, torches etc etc. A cut above all prior narrowboat hire companies. ABC are the best so far!!

Customer Service was excellent throughout. Handover was very good and in depth. Only problem we had was that it was the hottest day of the year and we were stood on metal deck in full sun.
