Cannot fault the ABC Boat Hire service, the whole process was simple and straightforward. We had a long weekend departing from Gayton Marina, all the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and as complete newbies they really put our mind at ease. The boat was great with everything that you need and the whole family had a brilliant time - will definitely book again! A special thanks to Ian who was calm and confident in showing us the ropes and advised us with the perfect manner and did great to reassure us and get us acquainted with the boat before we took off. Have already recommended to everyone I’ve spoken to so far!

Probably the most relaxing and fun holiday we have had. It helped that it was sunny but the canal is so lovely it wouldn't have mattered if it had rained. The Sandpiper was comfortable and very well equipped. You could cook on board but there are plenty of good pubs en route.

They were really friendly and helpful with getting to know the barge. Taking it through the first lock and onto the Wheel was also a relief for first time boaters.
