This is my first experiance of a canal boat. I have never touch one of these in my life! But it was good. Pros and Cons. Overall good.

It had been a few years since we last used ABC Boat hire but once again we were not disappointed. The welcome and instructions on arrival were first class, the narrowboat was well presented, clean and with all the items required for a perfect holiday. Unfortunately the weather was against us (it was July after all) but it did not dampen our spirits. On return the welcome was again friendly and handover well organised.

The staff at Gailey are all absolutely fantastic, nothing is too much trouble and they are very friendly. We hire a narrowboat every year from them and it’s always a perfect holiday.

The boat was lovely, it was a new one this year I believe with a few thoughtful extras, such as an automatic pump on the shower, what luxury!

White Wagtail is very spacious and suited rwo couples very well. We could alternate between both dining areas!
