Could not fault service The staff at Blackwater Marina where we collected boat were friendly but professional. Everything was carefully explained (as it was our first time). Which filled us with confidence. The boat itself was first class. Very clean inside and out with everything you could wish for. Will definitely be using them again

We really enjoyed our trip from Hilperton to Caen Flight. Beautiful stretch, everyone friendly and helpful on the locks. Two great pubs - recommend the three magpies and the barge inn, both served great food. However, outside the Barge inn, came across another canal boat hire company 'moonraker' they had taken over guest moorings and the owner of the company was very rude - I would avoid them at all costs!

Holiday was great from Alvachurch down to stratford-upon-Avon and onto the Grand Union. Staff were brilliant, even when we broke down. very helpful. Very polite. The boat could’ve been better, definitely not the flagship of the fleet things, not working and Rattles and squeaks Storage was very limited on this particular boat and overall appearance. Very tired.

Lovely week with our daughter , partner and dog . Did the kennet canal onto the Thames to Oxford . Boat explained well. Even though we have done it 3 times before . Boat well equipped and tidy . Struggled to moor at a few places due to no space . Not had that problem on other canals . Would definitely go with abc boats again
