We have just finished our fifth hire from ABC boats totaling 18 weeks. Each boat has provided all we need for a comfortable cruise on the canals of the UK. Their boats are modern, well designed, well equipped and are spotlessly clean when picked up. When ever a boat has had a problem an engineer has been available for phone advice and failed items have been quickly replaced by an engineer coming out to our mooring. We have already booked a boat with ABC for 4 weeks next year.

The 240 V supplied through an inverter failed on the third day of our 14 day cruise and could not be revived. It was inconvenient but we could manage without it. Everything else about the boat and the hire and the service was just fine

Very good service. We arrived early and although the boat was not quite ready the lady in the office was very helpful, she was on her own and had a lot of boats going out that day but stayed calm and cheerful. All the staff were very friendly and efficient.

Boat and service excellent. Fridge would be colder if run on gas. Battery potentially an issue. Modern clean boat with well fitted kitchen, comfy beds and good ensuite shower rooms. Handover informative, staff kind and helpful. Trip fabulous. Would recommend ABC Boathire.
