The Monmouth & Brecon canal is extremely shallow in places which can cause difficulties especially for inexperienced boaters, fortunately we have been on it before so knew what to expect.

The boat yard staff were the most friendly and helpful we have come across on our many boat trips we have done . The boat was excellent very modern and great facilities on board. Would definitely use this yard again

14 night to do the East Midland Ring. Just about right with 150 miles and 1oo locks, not forgetting the five Tunnels. lots to see and visit with great eating places on the route. I was surprised by how much countryside there is in the Midlands.

When we arrived we were directed to Kate in the office who was most helpful and went through the paperwork with minimal fuss We were then direct to Nigel who went through the workings of the boat and he was clear and went through again if I was not sure of what to do. He was also informed about the canal in the direction we were going and gave us a few useful tips
