Good check in when we arrived. Emma at Springhaven was very thorough and informative at handover. The boat was very clean throughout and fully equipped. No problems throughout the week. Our only concern was the last night at the marina, we could not get out of the marina to visit a pre-booked meal in Nuneaton as the main gate was locked and a combination lock was in place and there was no indication anywhere of the code. Emergency phone message did not give us a number to ring to speak to anyone. Just concerned that if an emergency had happened there would be no access or exit to and from the marina for emergency services or visitors at the marina. This was our 7th trip with ABC and was a great trip again. No further complaints at all.

Great boat, very clean and fully equipped throughout. Comfortable bed and comfortable eating area. One of the best boats we've been on in the past.

Not the fault of ABC but water shortage limited canal availability and nearly left boat grounded. Otherwise good trip.

I have used ABC Boats many times. All aspects of their service from booking, arrival, cleanliness of boat, instructions are done well and all staff are friendly and know their job. We were amazed that when we called in at another ABC boatyard on our recent holiday we were not charged for a pumpout. Will certainly use ABC again

A fun weekend but boat a little dated - compromises comfort a little

Clean boat, worked well, staff co-operative! Despite hiring boats for 40 previous trips, we found that on Night Heron the bow and stern ropes were too short! When we stern moored temporarily at the ABC Wrenbury base the stern rope was not long enough to tie up securely like the other ABC boats so moored. Also when mooring using rings the bow rope was often not long enough to pass through the ring and back to the bow, and it was necessary to tie to the ring - rarely with boats in the past have we found this to be the case. (The centre rope was ideal.
