Our 5th year on this type of boat out of different bases, we usually have the boat for the first available weekend of the new season so weather plays a big part of our experience, every year we have had various challenges. You must expect the odd little hiccup, unfortunately that's boating in general, but, anytime we have had an issue ABC have been on it immediately whether it be a battery problem or a broken toaster.

ABC helped us plan our holiday and helped us rebook when the locks were closed and we couldn’t do our original route. They were very helpful, gave us all the things we needed to prepare us for our journey and the boat was in immaculate condition. A++ for customer service! We don’t have one single complaint. One of our best holidays ever!

The price of the A B C boat was akin to the best quality company I have hired from, the presentation was about the same as the lowest quality company I have hired from. I feel in fairness to A B C I should not comment on the problem that arose until I have resolved it with them.

The boat was ready before allotted time, and all very clean, Although my husband and I have been on many barge holidays, our friends had not, and I was very impressed with the working lock, visual instructions given, with a working model. All staff very friendly. All kitchen utensils and pans were in tip top condition. There was nothing to fault. They even somehow kept the rain away.

The whole trip was very good and the boat was well fitted out and clean. The response to the alternator belt slipping off could have been better, especially the day after it was fitted back on, when I had to keep phoning the office to find out if a replacement was going to be fitted. It seemed like there was no internal communication between Springwood and Kings Orchard and we had been forgotten about.
