Everything was clean and we were well provided for. All the towels and bedding were lovely and clean and we even got a pack of washing up items, scrubbing brush, cloth, tea towels, etc. There was even shower gel, shampoo and soap in the 2 x bathrooms. Great boat layout which fitted our needs (2 adults, 2 kids) really well.

Extremely good customer service. Sadly there were 2 issues, one which resulted in our holiday being postponed and the other which resulted in us having to change marinas. Neither were the fault of ABC but they were extremely helpful.

Great customer service. Very helpful and everything delivered as expected. Very thorough debrief before we went on the canal boat and when we had a problem they came to our assistance very quickly indeed.

Although our holiday went very well, the return to Alvechurch was very upsetting. The ABC return procedure at Alvechurch could certainly be improved.

Although the boat was fine and well equipped and we liked the LED lighting, the procedure for returning the boat was appalling. We were delayed from arriving whilst other boats were refuelled and delayed again whilst the boat was moved. The final mooring was 'stern on' with no side 'finger jetty' so all our luggage and crew had to climb over the stern rail. Most unsatisfactory, ABC should have arranged something better after 60 yearsbased at Alvechurch. Although staff were perfectly reasonable, it appeared that the company process had to be followed and it was to be same for all boats. This does not happen with other companies and, in my experience, at other ABC Bases

Everything from the handover until we live the boat went exactly as it should - simple and straightforward! The experience with the boat was absolutely magical - it was the best holiday I've had in my 52 years! Wildlife, nice English people, boating on the canal, good food - yes, everything was perfect. We will be back! I will post the video on my YouTube channel "By The Old Canal" when I have finished editing.

Unfortunately due to the very hot weather (this is no fault of yours) the boat was unbearable to be on especially trying to sleep at night. The boat was clean and tidy on our arrival and all equipment listed was on board. We had issues with the boat: the toliet blocked (you kinding unblocked it)and gave us further instructions for how to use but unfortunately it continued to block and was very difficult to clear. The hairdryer and also the toaster blew the electrics (we made sure nothing else was on) so we didnt dare use the microwave or hoover to clean at the end of the holiday. The pump for the shower kept coming on intermittently throught the day and night. The sink smelt of old food waste and needed cleaning out.
