Sooty Swift is a very modern narrowboat. Beautifully appointed and well equipped. Very clean indeed. The heating system (only needed once) operated at the touch of a switch & very efficient. The staff are very professional, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended and will definitely book again

Friendly, easygoing and helpful staff from beginning to end and a clean boat. We would recommend ABC and chose them next time again. The boat was a bit old and worn and the marina slightly tired but these two comments don’t weigh too much against the overall positive impression.

From collection to return as always ABC were faultless - we have used them annually all over the. UK for 9 years now and they have never let us down, even if there has been mechanical issues with the boat, they have got us going again within an hour!

The boat was in excellent condition. The staff where very polite and informative, The only criticisme was that we booked Anderton marina because we wanted to go to Manchester but when we arrived where informed that due to a blockage in the canal which had happened on Christmas day 2024, We feel that this information should have been relayed to us at the time of the booking so we could have had the option of another marina, but as pervious stated the staff at Anderton Marina where very helpful indeed in helping us get to our Saturday appointment.
