Boat great Bath great mooring in nettles not so great maybe a council issue . Also lots of live on boards which was unexpected .

ABC boat hire is consistent with there boats as this is the second time we have hired from them . They keep everything simple on a canal boat so nothing has changed on the boat in 7 years . Of course we did a different canal which was an eye opener compared to our last trip . We found it much more difficult to tie up without nettle stings as the embankments were very overgrown and we aren’t sure if this is a normal for The Kennett and Avon ? Or the lack of spaces due to regular boats mooring . The experience was still note worthy and Bradford on Avon and Bath were delightful to visit and we are more than happy that we took 7 nights to meander through the British countryside nothing beats it ! The service was excellent, no complaints. They answered all questions promptly. However we had a few niggles with faults on the boat otherwise it would be 5 stars

Lovely fairly peaceful stretching canal. Gets busy at certain times, but with a world heritage site to visit that is only to be expected. Some issues creeping in with private owners who think they have some sort of precedence over hire boats.

Hand over was excellent, we were introduced to the boat and given thextuition/advice we would need on our journey. The boat was beautifully clean and in good order, and the welcome pack was a good start.

Boat condition and instruction was excellent and pitched at the right level. Warnings about the canals limitations were borne out "plenty of water, but an excess of bottom". It is surprising how quickly we adjusted to the conditions and made the return journey from Brecon with relative ease.

The boat was well kitted out for a crew of our size, - and more spacious than it looks. Loved how all the sleeping areas could be closed into mini rooms at night for privacy. The trip was great and the suggested routes were really helpful. Had a great time
