The boat was ready on time, perfectly clean and tidy, and we had no mechanical issues. As I had driven narrow boats several times before, we were not offered any particular training other than to be reminded about the daily routines, which was kind.

We were not impressed with the route as only one was available unless we wanted to tackle the Cean flight. The lock at Bristol was damaged so we could only go as far a Bath. Canals have not been looked after properly and mooring was very hard to find. We chose our original route because it went through beautiful countryside. I can’t say the same for this trip.

I stort uppfyllde båten förväntningarna. Riktigt bra standard och enkel att ahntera. Dock något trång för 8 personer som vi var på vår resa. Saknade även landgång för enkalre i och urstigning i och på båten.

It fully met our expectations. The staff was very helpful and nice. The boat was also very good, although the duvets are covers smelled damp . The kitchen was well equipped. We had a great time.

We had a good time. The main problem was the number of boats on the canal. There were very few spaces for mooring, especially on the way back when we needed to moor near Bradford upon Avon. We ended up having to stop at an angle to let some of our party off at a place where there was a risk of going aground. We then had to continue for another hour before we found a space, by which time the sun was beginning to set. Quite stressful.

The boat was clean and comfortable. Instructions were good apart from the bed set-up. The kitchen had everything we needed apart from washing up sponge, brush or cloth but I understand this was a mistake.
