Fantastic week away on the Bamboo Partridge leaving from the Blackwater Marina. Lovely boat, very clean and tidy on collection and this is the first time we’ve had working WiFi on board, was faultless during the week. Staff were excellent throughout the booking process and on collection and drop off of the boat. Thank you.

Great contact before we went to make sure everything was set up as we wanted it, a follow up call just before and a nice welcome when we arrived. Tony did a brilliant job of explaining the locks and how to operate the boat, a quick lesson on board and then we were off. So relaxing, pottering around the countryside, realising just how long Blisworth Tunnel is, and visiting friendly pubs in picturesque villages on route. All 8 of us loved it, especially the kids (the boat had WiFi). Back a week and we’re already talking about doing it again. Thanks to everyone at ABC.

Great service. Boats are fully kitted out/equipped and clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. This was our second hire and trip with ABC. We will definitely be back.

Everything about ABCs narrowboat rental service was excellent. Even though the start to our 7 day adventure on the Kennett and Avon Canal was delayed due to an electrical issue with the boat, the crew at Hilperton Boatyard looked after us until the boat was fixed and ready to go. We had rented a narrowboat before, and we treated the thorough briefing on all aspects of the boat as a much needed refresher course of things we may have forgotten. The boat itself was very comfortable and performed without fault (after the repair). We were allowed to moor the last night of our trip in their boatyard which enabled us a quick getaway in the morning. Booking, paying, vessel return and everything else was smooth and efficient. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent another narrowboat from ABCs depot at Hilperton Boatyard.
