Well organised from initial booking to final hand back. The narrow boat was spotless on hand over, thanks very much ladies, and the boat was very well equipped so no disappointments there. There was 10-15 mins of handling instruction, but was ample as the boat 69 ft long, was easy to manoeuvre even to a complete novice such as myself. From Blackwater to Llangollen there is no tv reception, but the radio worked fine. Some excellent pubs en route, The NarrowBoat, The Poachers and The Corn Mill in Llangollen provide excellent food and are a suitable distance apart for easy short cruise days (4-hrs) ish. Always top up your water, daily if possible and make use of on shore toilet facilities when you can. Thoroughly recommend this as an experience to get a hint of the history, engineering and hard work that went into this period of our history.

The boat was great. The mini route has alot of locks that need to be approached in a timely manner. Staff could provide more information about those.
