Probably the most relaxing and fun holiday we have had. It helped that it was sunny but the canal is so lovely it wouldn't have mattered if it had rained. The Sandpiper was comfortable and very well equipped. You could cook on board but there are plenty of good pubs en route.

They were really friendly and helpful with getting to know the barge. Taking it through the first lock and onto the Wheel was also a relief for first time boaters.

Efficient booking system and plenty of information provided including videos to watch beforehand informing us what was provided on the boat and instructions on opening and closing the locks etc.
