Are canal boat was very good apart from burning the toast on the cooker grille so we would have liked a toaster and a microwave oven which would have been nice apart from that are boat was very nice and having two bedrooms and having two bathrooms which we liked a lot.

All good apart from wifi which was cumbersome to use. Also we had to ring twice to get a new passcode. We did the trip slowly so had time to stop and visit attractions en route.

Hooded Warbler was a lovely boat.our grandson took to the tiller and whilst we all had 'a go' he really enjoyed getting us safely to Llangollen.Trevor to Llangollen was a challenge with such a large baot but with team effort very do enjoyable. The boat was very well prepared and equipped. The beds were slightly narrow but the extenders helped. Beds comfortable. Showers very good and plenty of hot water. Kitchen well equipped for basic cooking. WeWe had no trouble with the locks or lift bridges . Not many pubs on the Llangollen but that's not anything ABC could sort. Will do the canal thing again on a different canal. We think a week was enough fora first time. Thank you all at ABC boats for your work.

The holiday was a great experience. We'd not been narrow boating before but we had all the information we needed to make it a success. The boat was comfortable and clean. Many more hooks needed for when it's wet and there are towels and wet clothes to hang up.

Absolutely perfect service, we arrived and were show to our boat and given our safety briefing by very friendly staff and were on our way in no time! Same on the return, quick and easy and off to enjoy our day.

First time canal users. Fun time had by all. Glad we had one of the smaller boats. Lovely locations to stop along the way. Enjoy the ambience and don't rush.

Never been on a canal boat before, the staff were friendly and engaging in telling us what to do. The staff are amazing, all of them. Would definitely recommend the company. We went West along the Kenet and Avon Canal to Newbury from Aldermaston. Lovely stops along the way, we had rain and sun, made the adventure even more exciting. Only 1 pub right on the river The Robarge which is nice. We stopped at Thatcham, one pub next to the river, The Swan. No food there though when we stopped, but there is a lovely chip shop about 10 mins walk towards town on the right hand side. One the return journey, we decided to come through the lock and bridge and turn around past the yard, and spent the last night in the yard. Glad we did this as in the morning the road bridge doesn't open until after 9am, then you have a lock and to turn the boat around and be back by 9:30, there was a queue of boats trying to return at the same time and get through the lock and bridge. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, family of four with two teenagers - even they got into the swing of things. ABC were great. Don't try to do too much and travel too far, because you will ruin the experience. Relax and enjoy the views and down time along the way otherwise it can be quite stressful because you can't hurry the boats!

Fantastic team at the boat base,boat was spotless.Tuition at the start was comprehensive.Had to call them out to a fouled prop.The guy was lovely went above and beyond to fix the problem and got us up and running again.

Boat was spotless very comfortable with 2 toilets and cruisers stern.Traveled from Falkirk to Edinburgh in 1 week.We were pleasantly surprised with the countryside,it was just beautiful.
