From start to finish we enjoyed the whole experience. The handover was thorough and easy to follow - the chap that used to work in Greece on the sailing boats showed us around with great professionalism and knowledge. The boat was very clean and well equipped and there was enough space for everything! We were fortunate enough to have some beautiful weather and got the hang of the locks by the end of the weekend. Highly recommend ABC boat hire and would book again.

Very good service from beginning to end especially in the present climate. Nothing to much trouble, boat was equipped exceptionally well. All procedures handled professionally. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

The trip was good but we wasted a lot of time queuing for locks and feel we could have been warned about this and given more advice/information. We effectively spent 2 full days just queuing uo a down the Claydon Locks which out of 6 days is a lot of time. The boat was good but a bit dated and I felt we paid a lot of money for it. We were told the toilet should not need emptying but we had to have one toilet pumped out first thing on Wednesday having only picked up the boat on Saturday afternoon. It seemed to use an awful lot of flush water. We were told it would be unlikely to be filled in the week and we only had 5 people on the boat! It cost us £16 to empty and we feel we should be reimbursed this money please. The handover felt rushed and I understand the COVID situation but as novices we would have benefitted from more time and it felt quite stressful.

This is the second time I've used ABC boat hire and I think it will become an annual event. What a wonderful unique holiday. The staff were all so kind and helpful and the boat was spotless and well maintained.

Whilst it was a good holiday, one of our group had to leave early simply because the dinette bed was like sleeping on a brick. I tried sleeping on it myself and it has to be one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. The cushions used to make it also separated during the night adding to the discomfort.

Great holiday this year - we were very happy booking with ABC boat hire - the staff were particularly helpful with making a change to our break due to an unfortunate water breach on the canal. The staff at the base were very kind and informative. Our boat was first class all round - it was extremely well equipped. There was plenty of room for our party of 4 adults and 4 children. We would happily recommend ABC to friends and family and we may well book again ourselves in the future for another location.

From start to finish , Except for the parking spaces being to small. Excellent hand over , video tutorials. Staff very pleasant and friendly boats in immaculate condition.. Would highly recommend to all

As per last year the boat yard were friendly, efficient and helpful. A nice relaxing trip down the Kennet and Avon canal. The boat is well equipped and has plenty of storage.

The hot tap at the sink had a loose handle and needed a new washer. It was obvious that this fault must have existed for a long time.
