We could not have asked for a better trip, the service was brilliant. Our day trip boat was out of action so got upgraded to a full size canal boat which was amazing. The staff were very welcoming and brilliant when it came to explaining how to use the boat. I had never piloted a canal boat before but it was very easy, espicalliy after Richard at Whitchurch marina showd us how to do things. Have been with ABC before and they have lways been really friendly and knowledgeable. Handover was swift and helpful. Boat was almost new and well equipped. Only downside was not being given full details of the problems with low water levels prior to arriving.

ABC boat hire staff are always personable and extremely helpful in providing training on the use of their boats and the procedures using locks and traveling through the Falkirk wheel. Our staff member who did our training (George) was thorough, extremely knowledgeable competent and professional.

Have just spent the last 2 weeks going from Nantwich to Llangollen, back down to the Shropshire Union Canal and upto Chester. The Narrowboat was superbly equipped including great WiFi. The Handover team at the start and end were great, making us feel extremely pleased to have booked with ABC. We are out again at Easter from Aldermaston. Can’t wait

For me the Narrowboat experience is like the Heron. Graceful random boating encounters on the canal with lovely people: Witness the Heron biding his time by the river, Flying like a dance to natures beat The sky his song, the breeze his partner Wellbeing guaranteed forever.
