I left from Whitchurch and the lady in reception was an absolute pleasure, she told us everything we needed to know and answered all our questions I couldn’t fault her. The lady who did the hand over was equally brilliant told us everything looked after us and even came with us for the first 5 minutes. Then we had a great time so much so we are definitely booking a week next year

Everyone I talked to at ABC was helpful and friendly and the narrowboat was well-designed, clean and in good working order. This was my first canal boat holiday and I was glad to have taken the RYA ‘Narrowboat Experience Day’ practical course beforehand.

The communication was very smooth and easy, they were really helpful when needed,, giving us confidence in ourselves, just enough “education” as needed. And really looking for solutions when a bridge broke down on our final day, and we had to stay instead of going down the canal.

Your recent holiday on Eagle - Spotted Eagle from Whitchurch Marina

Went to Llangollen and return from Whitchurch - easily done in a week. Decided to go through the Chirk tunnel early in the morning etc - to miss this bottleneck and got over the Aqueduct before 11am. Great canal - take your time no rush.

Lovely boat and super helpful staff. It was a shame some of the canal/river routes were closed. Some of this information before hand would’ve been better to help us plan our route. Couldn’t fault the trip or the boat at all.
