Great boat with everything we needed

Really helpful right from the booking process to the pickup and the drop off, we did have to call on the engineer but he was with us in 20 mins of the call, issue sorted and we were on our way. We had a great week and would thoroughly recommend both a canal holiday and ABC.

From time of booking to handing back the boat, all the staff were so helpful and friendly, especially the lady who did our safety brief at the marina, she really filled us with excitement for our holiday.

An excellent boat mechanically, we’ll cleaned and prepared. Our only problem was the oven door. The glass slipped down. The engineer at Anderton will fix it. Two general points: I am 6ft 2 inches and can’t get in the shower. Also the bunks are very narrow; so I had to set up a double bed in the galley area.

Everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly (especially Richard at the Whitchurch marina who showed us around the boat and explained how everything worked as it was our first time), the boat was well equipped and in great condition, and we had the best honeymoon we could have asked for. We will be back for another boat holiday for sure.

From the moment we arrived at the Marina we were welcomed, good friendly staff advising and explaining the boat etc. Very helpful. The boat was extremely clean, especially with Covid in mind, felt the utmost cleaning process had been made. All the Eco cleaning products were in place to be used whilst on our holidays. Every member of staff we came across were polite and friendly which gave a good happy feeling to start our holiday, but also very secure in the knowledge that we had been given the necessary instructions to stay safe. Also given tel no if we required assistance.

The holiday was a great experience for fist time narrow boaters. More help with locks would have been appreciated.

Excellent hand over and return, fantastic time on Sanderling. Volunteers manning the locks were fantastic, very supportive and made the whole journey to the Kelpies and back seemless.

No hassle and no issues with hire and staff were very helpful and accommodating. Boat was clean and tidy and we were able to board quickly and start our holiday without any difficulties.
