Boat was great, clean with everything we needed; although the engine sounded a bit unhappy toward the end of our trip. We would have like more info about mooring - eg we're only allowed on the tow path bank. We moored in someone's private spot by accident, we realised our error but it was hard work getting into the space!! The canal was disappointingly dirty - obviously not the fault of abc at all, just the wider community. We plan to donate to the canal and river trust to help clean up. We really enjoyed our trip and will be boating again soon!!

This was our 5th canal boat holiday and ABC did everything we could have asked for to ensure a safe holiday amidst COVID.

Pluses outwayed negative issues, so overall an excellent holiday. Problems found at handover reported in writing upon return, including vacuum blocked, very dirty floors, blocked drain and overfilling toilet. Those we met along the way commented on the worrying state of the canal, and we could see what they meant: some sluices and gates very difficult to operate. Super weather.

Everything ready on arrival. Very smooth hand-over. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and well equipped boat. Couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommend 👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We did the Black Country Ring. Full days of cruising and a very interesting mix of scenery from industrial archaeological to quiet countryside. Plenty of locks!!!

We found it very difficult to sleep on the double bed as it was very thin cushions on the wooden board.

I have knocked off two stars for the following reasons: 1) Poor and very delayed handover - we were forgotten about 2) The toilets tanks hadn't been emptied before we took the boat out. This was evident by the fact hat BOTH needed emptying 4 days after pick up 3) The marina refused to accept my request to refund for the pump out charges

We had a great four days on the Llangollen canal. The views are outstanding over the Pontcysyllte and Chirk aqueduct. The canal boat was super clean and tidy. Could not have asked for better.
