This is the third time we have used ABC and like the previous times their service was 100% from the moment of booking through the whole experience. The boats are extremely comfortable and well equipped and the staff are very friendly and professional.

Many things went well starting with a wonderful week of weather! The boat was nice and clean and handover worked perfectly for us. We got away nice and early and made our overnight destinations (for the Cheshire Ring) every day

Cheshire ring This was hard work though enjoyable. Due to water restrictions we had to make Marple on Tuesday and Bosley on Wednesday, which meant 27 locks through Manchester on Monday, i.e. a 06:00 start. Lock 9 below Manchester Picadilly station - we weren't the only boat to collect debris around our propellor. It took us 40 minutes to clear and one of the other boats took 4 hours to clear. It seems a common problem here so I would recommend ABC either supply an extremely sharp marine quality knife or encourage renters to bring their own. Also, you could recommend to renters to moor in the Staffordshire arm (in Castlefield Junction). We went down the Grocer's warehouse leg and had a tricky turn to make. Otherwise everything else was fine with the boat and the route and the scenery was magnificent

I thought this experience was fantastic. Myself and my family really enjoyed our time. The boat was clean and easy to navigate and we were given adequate instruction on how to move the boat and things to look out for. Everyone was very professional and answered any questions we had.

Welcoming staff and an excellent presentation and training before showing us around the boat. The boat was super clean and tidy and well equipped. We were given a boat manual with loads of great information. We even got a complimentary deck of cards! We discussed our intended route with staff before setting off to ensure it was feasible within our time scales and with a couple of minor changes it worked out perfectly. We will certainly recommend ABC to friends and will definitely use them again.
