Easy handover process. Well presented boat. Difficult to seat 6 round the table. small free standing stools may be better than the fold down bench on one side of table. One of the toilets required pump out and was full again at end of trip despite very conservative use. We have been on at least a dozen canal holidays and never before required a pump out.

The holiday was pleasant and relaxing but not quite as enjoyable as previous canal holidays due mainly to the exceptionally hot weather which put a significant constraint on our cruising and exploring. Also the arrival and departure arrangements brought about by the COVID regulations were a bit irksome.

ABC Boat Hire provided a an easy and quick way to book a "staycation" despite the late booking in difficult times. Having used ABC previously they were the first choice when it became obvious that a holiday this year was on the cards after all.

It was a very noisy boat from the engine compared to what we have had before,we found the beds uncomfortable and the wi fi gave constant problems and no service anywhere on the tv. We also kept getting a foul smell from the waste system. We travel on your boats most years but this year,the wren seemed slightly smaller everywhere. Maybe the smell was made worse by the hot weather. But no excuse for the wi fi, every time you went out of an app, you had to sign in again and complete security questions and then it told you the code had expired so it didn’t even last a day. We got totally fed up with ringing for a new code and gave up in the end. Having said that, the scenery was stunning andthe weather glorious which helped with the other frustrations.

Thank you for your feedback, which we have forwarded to the marina. During their holiday our customers have access to 335 MB of free data per day, which should be sufficient for internet browsing or emailing. We do also advise customers to check that their phones aren't automatically downloading updates as this may be the reason for data being used too quickly. First boating holiday, we had a lovely boat well equipped with lots of amenities, great friendly staff who were very helpful at the start and the end of the holiday. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, would definitely recommend ABC boat hire.

I have rated it 4 star as the barge was not to the usual standards. Having been on 7 holidays with the company, the barge we took out had a number of minor issues do the age of the boat.
