Engine failed (But good response from callout). Boat exterior paintwork was tired. Interior cleaning could have Benn deeper.

2 years in the planning and 6 of us enjoyed it as 2013 was last boating holiday together only improvement would be expandable hose instead of cassette hose

Boat was what we expected. But would have loved to have a water indicator level inside the boat, as was concerned how much water we had left .😊 This was our first ever narrow boat experience.. would def do again ..

The staff at the marina helped make this our very best trip ever. Really helpful very positive and customer focused. Kate invited us to arrive early to get booked in before the busy 2pm session. Great local advice on where to have our first lunch. We would go back to kings orchard based on ourexperience.

We did experience some issues with the boat that detracted from our holiday. The cooker would not stay lit without having to press on the cooker knob. We had a coolant leak on the heating system so had to keep topping it up. Day one the batteries would not carge with the engine running and then we could not stop the engine. An engineer was called and he replaced a fuse (on the starter motor??). From time to time there was a high pitch alarm when the engine was idling so when slowing to pass moored boats we kept having to rev the engine slightly to get rid of the alarm.

Great handover, great communication prior to trip via email, boat was very clean and well equipped with tools for mooring up and kitchen equipment. Will book again.

Several faults with boat that on this occasion significantly impaired our holiday enjoyment. Primarily poor heating system and badly fitting front doors meant it was difficult to keep the forrard bedroom warm in the cold may weather
