The Narrow boat was perfect except the outside could have done with a clean. Windows need a clean and cob webs on the seating areas. Pressure hose would have cleared away a lot outside debris. You pick up the boat after 2.00pm , plenty of time to do the outside better. Every thing else was perfect in equipment on board.

Really enjoyed our experience on our Narrow boat trip from Gaston Marina to Welford and back. Narrow boat was well equipped , even raincoats and umbrella, supplied. Enough bedding, towels and shower room accessories. Lovely boat. The locks are hard work. If considering a narrow boat make sure some one is fit enough to handle heavy lock gates. The canals are lovely and quiet at a slow pace. Relaxing and mooring up was easy.

Very nice narrow boat. Well equiped. Easy to handle. We headed from Aldermaston, the first night stopped at Woolhampton. The Rowbarge, a very nice pub to stop at great food and dog friendly.

They are very helpful I phoned them on numerous times to discuss our break before and after our booking and they gave me all the information I needed nothing was too much and so friendly could fault the service I got .There was nine of us on the barge and we had all the equipment we needed and it was very clean and the instructions about how to operate the barge and information about the bridges and locks was easy to understand and the routes and places to stop and eat and drink and time it takes was excellent. We're going to book for next year as it was a most enjoyable break.
