This was our 4th holiday with ABC. Discovered we were missing bedding and towels for the double bed too late for our first night☹️

ABC could not have been more helpful or efficient. The check in process was easy and informative and all the staff polite and knowledgeable.

This was our first experience and really the boat was too long to steer and manoeuvre easily. We would have been better to have had another couple on board with us as too much to do with just 2 of you .....not a restful holiday .. but the weather was kind to us. the guide book indicated places where one could tie up..BUT either you could not see the mooring rings for the cow parsley or it was private mooring. the canal was very shallow in places and we got stuff once too often!!!

Handover a little vague, no idea where water points and mooring could be found en route but made up for by lovely team at March marina. The cleanest boat we've ever had from ABC in the 10 odd years we've been hiring. Be prepared for a bit of time in the weed hatch. Sea locks both have great lock keepers, extremely helpful. The chug to Ely was lovely, lots of wildlife and barely another boat. Ely busy but mooring not an issue and locals friendly! Was almost as though the last 16 months hadn't happened. Grown up children enjoyed it too.

Not informed about lack of water points on the route; the boat leaked from the roof, and the lack of water led us to fret about running out so much so that we bought loads of bottled water at a supermarket

A well structured 1st time user break on a canal boat, completely different to anything we have previously undertaken. Physically relaxing but at first require a good deal of concentration. The weather helped. Boat was clean and as expected, a tight fit!

The single beds were uncomfortable and the dining table at front of boat too large with difficulty getting around that part of cabin

The guidance itinerary gave quite a pretty gruelling schedule to get to Llangollen and too much time for the return journey. This was our first canal boat trip, would be much wiser next time.
